Hello and welcome to Mami Moves Podcast! This first podcast is an introduction to who I am, Amber Lopez, just a single mami, Latina, first generation college student on my post op gastric bypass surgery journey!

I just want to tell you that I love the fact that you are doin this podcast, and that sharing your journey as a first generation college student, LATINA (woot-woot 🙌🏼) and single mother, opening up about your weight loss journey too, is not only so brave and real, but it is inspiring and influencing to so many Latina and Hispanic females (like myself) that can relate to some if not all the struggles, challenges, and life changing moments that you are allowing us to be a part of. I just want to say that you doing this cast is going to help so many females like ourselves discover that they are beautiful, strong, and can be the change by making the change of our culture and lives...
